About Us

Abigail is a bespoke jeweller based in the North Lincolnshire countryside along the banks of the Humber. She hand makes jewellery in silver gold and platinum specialising in engagement rings and the remodelling of customers own gold.

She started making jewellery at 8 years old in her fathers workshop making pieces for friends and family as gifts. By the age of 17 she decided this was definitely the career she wanted to pursue so enrolled at The Goldsmiths Centre on their one year pre apprentice foundation. From there she learnt the basics in all aspects of the trade and at the end of the year she decided Diamond Mounting was her chosen specialism. She became bound in a 4 year apprenticeship learning the fine art of Diamond mounting apprenticed to her father under The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. Upon completion of her apprenticeship she received the Freedom of the City of London and The Freedom of The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. Upon completing her training in 2016 Abigail Buckingham Jewellery was born.
